Frequently asked questions

What is the return policy?

All items are final sale. Returns or exchanges are not accepted once an order has been placed.

I just purchased an e-design package. Where can I find it?

If you’ve just purchased an e-designpackage, you can download it by logging into our website. Go to your Orders page, where you’ll find a link to access and download your package.

How do I site measure?

Before your contractor begins, we recommend they verify all dimensions one last time.

We’ll base our drawings on the information you’ve provided. Please double-check that everything is accurate to avoid surprises on site!

What are the purchasing details?

All products are sourced from Canadian suppliers. Most tile and plumbing fixtures can be found locally. All you have to do is just show your tile shop or supplier the spec sheet and they’ll usually have something comparable (yay!). Otherwise, most items can be ordered online.

What is the difference between Option A and Option B E-Design Packages?

We provide Option A and Option B for most items — high/low choices that can be mixed and matched based on your budget.

If you fall in love with something else during your shopping — go for it! Just make sure:

  1. The dimensions are similar
  2. Any changes are communicated to your contractor(Example: If you choose a taller mirror, double-check your wall sconce placement , nobody wants lighting in the wrong spot!)
What are lead times and stock availability?

We can’t guarantee items going in and out of stock! Even though we actively monitor our selections, things can change. If an item is discontinued or unavailable, just message us! We’ll send a replacement suggestion ASAP.

Can you mix finishes from selections based on the E-Design Package Purchased?

Totally your call. Some variation is natural and can add personality. Just be mindful of what will bother you. Trust your gut!

Permit Disclaimer

These drawings are intended for design and planning purposes only. While they may be suitable for permit submission, this is at the discretion of the local building authority and subject to approval. If you intend to use these drawings for permit, the homeowner must assume full responsibility for the design and its compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.

We strongly recommend consulting with your general contractor and/or a local building official to confirm whether permits are required and to ensure all aspects of the project meet current codes in your jurisdiction.

How Much Will This Cost?

This is not a basic design package — the bathroom has been thoughtfully planned with high-end finishes, standout features, and a curated mix of Level A and B product options to give you flexibility while maintaining a polished, cohesive look.

Once you receive your drawings, your contractor will be able to provide detailed pricing, as everything is clearly sourced and specified. From there, it’s up to you — the homeowner — to decide where you might want to scale back or adjust elements based on your renovation budget.

As a starting point, we recommend reaching out to a contractor to understand where their bathroom renovation pricing typically begins. Every contractor is different, and pricing can vary widely based on region, scope, and materials.

While we aim to design within reason, we cannot guarantee that our design will align with all budgets. However, it’s a strong foundation — and you're in control of where to dial it up or down.

What is the difference between The Guide vs. Hiring an Interior Designer?

The Guide is a semi-custom design package created to help you navigate your renovation with confidence. It includes everything you need to hand off to your contractor: detailed drawings, sourced materials, and a clear plan — all tailored to your space using your provided site measurements.

What would an interior designer do that the guide will not?

Hiring an Interior Designer, on the other hand, is a fully customized, hands-on service.

A designer will:

  1. Tailor every detail specifically for you and your home
  2. Make changes and revisions throughout the process
  3. Meet in person, manage trades, and oversee the project from start to finish
  4. Provide ongoing support and adjustments as the project evolves
Is the guide better suited for my interior project rather than an interior designer?

The Guide is for homeowners who are confident managing their own renovation sourcing, ordering, hiring — but want a beautiful, professional plan to start with.

An interior designer is for those looking for full-service support every step of the way.
